Breakfast Wraps

If you guys are anything like me, you’re busy in the morning. Sleep is a priority, but we all know that breakfast is important too. While it’s easy to inhale a couple of Pop Tarts on the way out the door, if you can sacrifice 10 ¬†minutes of sleep you can make yourself a healthy, nutrient dense breakfast that will kick start your morning.

These breakfast wraps are something that I just kind of threw together one morning that ended up tasting absolutely fantastic.

What you’ll need:

  • Taco Sized tortillas (Go with whole wheat:) !! )
  • A handful of cooked ground turkey
  • 2 egg whites
  • Diced onion
  • Half an avocado
  • Siracha sauce (optional)

Really all you have to do is throw all of these ingredients in the tortilla(s), fold them however you wish, and what you end up with is a nutrient dense, satisfying breakfast.

TIPS: Of course, to make this meal even faster to put together, cook the turkey and dice the onion beforehand, that way all you really have to do is cook the eggs and you’re pretty much set!

This breakfast is relatively high calorie; and is full of protein, healthy fat, and fiber which will keep you satisfied until you’ve got time to eat again.
